It is important that you make sure that the surfaces to be refinished are as clean as possible.
Please clean floors, walls, vents, etc. that may have dust or debris on them. This will reduce the chances of dust or other contaminants falling into the coating. Bathtub Pros will be cleaning the surface as part of our process. However, we find that the finished product is improved when the surface is reasonably clean when we arrive. Any fixtures (drains, faucets, etc.) should be double checked for leaks.
Please make sure the following items are present, available, and in proper working order:
- Running water at work site
- Electricity
- Adequate Lighting
- Working air conditioner (Florida)
- No Leaking or Dripping Faucets
Bathrooms
- Give area to be refinished a thorough cleaning.
- Remove all personal items such as shampoo bottles, tooth brushes, decorative items or hair products that are in bathroom.
- Remove anything that you will need for the day from bathroom.
- Any fixtures (faucets, drains, etc.) that are going to be replaced should be removed or replaced.
- Repair any leaky faucets.
Kitchens
- Give it a thorough cleaning. It is best to use a degreaser.
- Remove all items from the countertops and walls.
- Remove anything that you will need for the day from kitchen.
Tile
- Give it a thorough cleaning.
- Be sure that the grout is in good repair. (we can take care of small areas that are missing.
- Any loose or damaged tiles will need to be repaired prior to resurfacing.
