Before We Arrive

It is important that you make sure that the surfaces to be refinished are as clean as possible.

Please clean floors, walls, vents, and surrounding areas that may have dust or debris on them. This helps reduce the chances of dust or other contaminants falling into the coating. Bathtub Pros will be cleaning the surface as part of our process, but we find that the finished product is improved when the surface is reasonably clean when we arrive.

Any fixtures such as drains or faucets should be double checked for leaks before the appointment.

Please Make Sure the Following Are Available

  • Running water at the work site
  • Electricity
  • Adequate lighting
  • Working air conditioner
  • No leaking or dripping faucets

Bathrooms

  • Give the area to be refinished a thorough cleaning.
  • Remove personal items such as shampoo bottles, toothbrushes, decorative items, and hair products.
  • Remove anything you will need for the day from the bathroom.
  • Any fixtures that are going to be replaced should be removed or replaced beforehand.
  • Repair any leaky faucets.

Kitchens

  • Give the area a thorough cleaning.
  • It is best to use a degreaser.
  • Remove all items from countertops and nearby walls.
  • Remove anything you will need for the day from the kitchen.

Tile

  • Give the tile a thorough cleaning.
  • Make sure the grout is in good repair.
  • Small missing grout areas can be addressed, but loose or damaged tiles should be repaired prior to resurfacing.
