How We Got Here
No origin story spin, no marketing slogans — just what happened, in order.
Started as a family-owned operation focused on one thing: refinishing tubs the right way, at a price homeowners could afford.
Owner went directly to the manufacturer for full training, brought every refinish in-house, and set the standard the company still runs by today.
We weren’t willing to settle for industry-average. We joined the Professional Bathtub Refinishers Association — the peer group of the country’s most serious refinishers — and adopted the coating system PBRA recommends: Shark Grip. The first job after the switch was like driving a brand-new car. Everything clicked — the prep, the bond, the flow-out, the cure. Best-looking tubs we’d ever sprayed.
The coating system was right. Our business system wasn’t. We were overbooked, overworked, and growing faster than we could deliver our own standard. We tightened the schedule, brought the volume back to a pace where every job got the full PBRA standard, and stopped chasing work we couldn’t deliver perfectly. Elite came back in 2019. The discipline stayed.
Every job a chance to refine the process — the prep, the strip, the bond layer, the cure time, the finish. What we do today is the product of every tub we’ve ever sprayed.
The current process — etch, Power Bond™ coupling layer, immersion-service epoxy, flexible polyurethane topcoat — backed by Silver and Gold packages with a 3-year or limited lifetime warranty. The phone doesn’t ring. That’s the goal.
